What's all this then? - The why of drinks on a train.

I like drinks. I travel on trains.
I'll write about these experiences for your, so that you know what the best drinks are to have on trains. Simple, right?

Why?
Because nobody is reviewing these drinks, so I felt I had to. Not only for the good of train drinkers everywhere but to catalogue this unique expression of British culture.

A few simple rules.
  • These drinks must be bought in the train station or supermarket.
  • The trains must be in the UK.
  • I will rate drinks out of 5, for simplicity.
  • Trains will not be reviewed, I don't really care about the trains. (other modes of transport might also be used - sorry train fanatics)
Note: To begin with we will not be reviewing beers or bottles of wine. Why? Because those are reviewed elsewhere. Beer drinking is best left to the pub whilst bringing your own glasses and a bottle of wine on a train is far too much faff - and you can stop reading this right now if you're planning to chug wine from the bottle - this is a train, not a festival! No, we will focus here on small canned drinks, something that is sophisticated but not so much that it needs a glass.

That's it. Happy train journeys. Cheers!
